Optical Coherence Tomography

Our office offers iWellness screenings using OCT. The iWellness exam takes detailed cross-sectional images of the macula which allows for early detection of macular pathology from conditions such as macular degeneration, diabetes, and glaucoma. 

These images are essential for detecting the earliest signs of eye disease before it can affect your vision. The OCT is also used in the management of glaucoma, macular degeneration, and even specialty contact lens fitting. The OCT can image the eye in a way that is not possible on a routine exam, and it is crucial for proper diagnosis and management of many ocular conditions.
